Gabby, AKA Goobs, is a Brooklyn-based artist and graduate of the San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI) with a BFA in Sculpture. Gabby’s formal training in figurative drawing and sculpting, combined with her love for the outdoors, has informed her work to take on a more organic and abstract format. Her early training focused on live figure drawing and sculpting, which developed into a passion for sculpting female forms and other organic figures.

Gabby draws inspiration from her surroundings and sense of place, having lived on both the East and West Coast throughout her career. She finds inspiration through nature found on each coast and from the strong women in her life. More recently, Gabby has focused on creating elevated functional ceramics influenced by her love of cooking at home, hosting, and dining out. She integrates her love for the abstract and organic in her handmade functional ceramics, like her viral snack plate and oyster plate. The Goobs collection has something for all, with Gabby’s clients ranging from sculpture collectors to those looking to elevate and celebrate their everyday home goods.
